Hawaii Wildfire Response
In the wake of the deadliest U.S. wildfire in over 100 years, Samaritan's Purse is responding in Maui, Hawaii. The North Carolina-based relief organization is sending its DC-8 aircraft with 17 tons of relief items to the disaster zone. As residents return to their communities, Samaritan’s Purse volunteers will help homeowners sift through the ashes for any sentimental keepsakes which may have survived the flames.
