Samaritan's Purse is responding to the destruction left behind by Hurricane Beryl and is now operating in Southeast Texas and across three island nations in the Caribbean: Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Jamaica. This is the first Atlantic hurricane of 2024 and the strongest storm in recorded history to pass through the region. In addition to opening an Emergency Field Hospital on the island of Carriacou, several relief flights carried out by the organization’s DC-8 cargo plane has delivered life-saving aid that will provide shelter and clean water to the impacted communities.
